Sales also took longer. Median days on market reached 37, up from 21 in September and 28 a year earlier, the highest in the past year, and 16 of 28 sales closed at or above asking, down from 72 percent of the 43 sales in September. The median sale to list ratio was 100.4 percent, against 102.01 in September.
Twenty eight sales closed, against 43 in September and 29 last October, and 29 new listings came on. Eight sales landed between $700,000 and $799,999 and six at $1,000,000 and over, close to the seven and five in those ranges a year earlier. Nothing closed below $600,000 this month.
